Something I was not expecting to see while in Saguaro National Park was raptors. I mean it makes sense once you’re there and see how much wildlife – especially birds – is actually in the park. It is still desert, but it was significantly more lush than I was expecting, and as a result there was more wildlife. Most of the birds were tricky to photograph because they seemed even more skittish than normal, but this American Kestrel and a couple Red-tailed Hawks did let me get a couple good shots.
