When we first saw these wandering around Mexico, we thought they were capybaras, but apparently they are a different rodent called Agouti. They were about the size of a small dog (well, considering we were in Mexico – the land of chihuahua, they would be considered a medium sized dog) and were wandering around in an area we found with a few ruins and small park. Either way, they were fun to watch, and I’ll still have to see the worlds largest rodent some other time.
