Death Valley National Park (part 3): Black & White

These first couple are from Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes – and I have to admit that this is what I was expecting to see more of when I first though of visiting deserts, but this is the first set of “proper” sand dunes I’ve encountered. Also, the smell of the Mesquite trees as the sun set was absolutely phenomenal – an experience I won’t soon forget. But when I processed the photos, they just screamed to be processed in B&W… I’ll share both the color and B&W versions for you to compare.

The next couple are from Badwater Basin again… and I just feel like they work well in B&W… enjoy!
