This little guy really isn’t supposed to be where I photographed it… Lionfish are not native to the Caribbean and Florida waters, but because of the pet trade and people not being responsible they’ve taken hold and likely won’t ever be eradicated from these waters. I’m not sure what species this is – and there is a high chance it is a hybrid anyway – but despite all that, I figured a couple photos were worthwhile since it is still a beautiful fish.
