I only managed to get this one decent photo of this bird. I’ve seen a couple of them on occasion since, but they’ve all been too far away. It took me a while to figure out an ID, but I am pretty sure it is a Least Bittern, but regardless it has some impressive abilities to climb among those thin stems above the water…
