Palmer Lake, CO

So if you’re not aware, my next digital nomad adventure has brought me to Colorado. I’ve traded my scuba fins for hiking boots. My first stop is a small little town called Palmer Lake which is south of Denver. And my first challenge was Mount Chautauqua – which if I’m correct is the mountain in the middle of these photos. The trail I chose put the climb right in the first mile and was about 1000 feet of elevation gain in that mile, so a pretty substantial climb. On the recommendation of my AirBNB host, I came back down on the other side in Limbaugh Canyon and in doing so I found a really cool thing that you’ll have to wait till later in the week to see (I’m hoping to have a cool video pulled together by Friday).
