| Submitted to The Photographic Section's 2010 Annual Photo Salon on 02/26/2010.
The second photo of the coral head was modified within Photoshop Elements to adjust the lighting and some color modifications. Unfortunately, I forgot what the exact changes were, and I didn't save it in a fullsize version with the modifications before resizing down for the competition. I also discussed this modification and provided a poll to vote against the original unmodified version. The sixth photo of the succulents was converted to black and white. |

| Submitted to George W. Glennie Memorial Nature Salon 2010 through The Photographic Section on 02/25/2010.
This competition spoke directly to me and I knew I had to enter. All nature photographs that showed absolutely zero human influence in the photo. Additionally the contest has very strict rules on how much post production can be done to the photo. Each of these photos will definitely be reused in other contests as these are some of my favorites and I feel that any of the them is competition worthy. And there's that spider again! The cactus photo has been discussed once before, here. |

| Submitted to: PW Photo Dog Portraits Contest on 02/23-25/2010.
My second set of attempts at a PW Photo contest. We have two very cute dogs, who were even cuter puppies as you can see. I am starting to have a love/hate relationship with these PW Photo contests. |

| Submitted to: PW Photo Shallow Depth of Field Contest (archived winners) on 02/09-11/2010.
This is the first real contest I submitted to. See, I told you that spider photo would show up again. This contest was all about shallow depth of field which each of these photos used very well. None of the photos were selected as a finalist in the contest. PW allows for one photo submitted to her contests per day (a change from her previous no limit which resulted in a huge number of submissions that just didn't even belong in the contest) so I managed to get three submitted as I never catch the new contests right away. |

My second attempt to get something selected into PhotoZAP for critiquing, but unfortunately was not selected. I'm sure this one will get discussed here on the site eventually. |

This was my first attempt at light painting, and I wanted to see if I could get someone over at Adorama to critique it for me. Unfortunately, it was not selected. |
